Eat healthy: Eating healthy will help with the insulin resistance. Eating a diet high in fiber and low in processed foods also helps insulin resistance. This includes fresh vegetables, whole grains, nuts and seeds. While it may not reverse the insulin resistance, it may minimize its effects.
