Impingement syndrome: Impingement syndrome is most common cause. This refers to an impingement that can occur between a subacromial bone spur and either a rotator cuff muscles or the biceps; it can sometimes lead to a complete tear of one or more of those structures. I would not hesitate to be seen for it.
