Sinus infection?: With sinus congestion, post nasal drip, fever, I would wonder if you have a sinus infection. You may need antibiotics, so see your doctor. In the meantime, "Simply Saline" spray, a nettie pot, guaifeniscen, may all help. If you feel severely ill, go to the ER or urgent care center. GERD can be responsible for hoarseness, choking sensation, and a range of other symptoms OTHER than heartburn.
