I just switched to a vegetarian diet and getting headaches and jaw pain. what would be causing these side effects or is this unrelated?

Not directly but...: Vegetarian diets have many proven benefits and should not cuase headaches and jaw pain, so this may be a coincidence. But, you may be allergic to certain foods you are now eating more of. The most common food allergies are to dairy, eggs, wheat, corn, soy, almonds and beans. Try avoiding all for a week (eat lots of veggies), then add back one at a time to see if any of these trigger headaches etc.

Unrelated: I would say these are unrelated. Make sure you get enough protein and take a b b vitamin complex!
