can you explain how this combination works? i take 25mg zoloft (sertraline) 1 mg ativan at night. i had 3 drinks and blacked out with no memory for about 7 hours. i won't be doing this again but i am very curious as to the combination. i am planning on c

Not advisable: Ativan will commonly cause amnesia. You should not drink in combination with the Ativan, the result can be as you found, but can be more serious including death. Your dose of Zoloft (sertraline) is very low, and not likely an interaction with either the alcohol or ativan.
