What can cause small red pinpricks on surface of skin? not petacchiae. recent clean bloodwork and clean dermatologist check.

Dermatologist good i: i'm glad you're seeing a dermatologist. Have they seen these red spots. If not you need to show it to them when you have the episode again. There could be a lot of reasons for these including skin vessels, skin pores, hair follicle size, skin thinness etc. showing them this rash will definitely clarify the diagnosis
