My doctor ordered a semen culture to send to microbiology. what does that look for? i saw the urologist for a slightly inflamed prostate.

Bacteria in: prostate take a long time to be treated. They can be STD but are more likely just the bowel bacteria that cause UTI's. They take a month of treatment to get them out of the prostate though.
