Depends: Poor eyesight in the dark can be due to many things: some treatable (cataracts, nearsightedness, use of certain drugs , diabetes, cirrhosis, vitamin a deficiency (rare)); others not (birth defects, cystic fibrosis, retinitis pigmentosa, con-rod dystrophy, other retinal degenerations). An eyemd can help evaluate the cause. The most common cause is cataracts (lens changes).
