Absolutely: There are ingredients in the toothpaste that can irritate your skin and make things worse. Please use products specifically designed for pimple use. There are hundreds of posts on this site alone asking for advice on chemical burns due to toothpaste. Heed the warning.

Not recommended: Using any toothpaste on an inflamed pimple can cause more redness and irritation. Please, save the toothpaste for your teeth only, and save your skin.
