Yes: There can sometimes be a little bleeding associated with the removal of the paraguard. It's not quite as flexible as the mirena (levonorgestrel). That bleeding can get trapped inside the uterus and then be let out during your period. Just keep an eye on it. If bleeding increases, don't be afraid to have a doctor take a look. I hope this helps!
