Had my paraguard removed an the 21st of april and started my period on may 2nd untill may 5th. it was dark maroon and some clotting. it this normal?

Yes: There can sometimes be a little bleeding associated with the removal of the paraguard. It's not quite as flexible as the mirena (levonorgestrel). That bleeding can get trapped inside the uterus and then be let out during your period. Just keep an eye on it. If bleeding increases, don't be afraid to have a doctor take a look.
