Hernia surgery: Depends on what type of hernia, but in general you can go back to unrestricted activity after 6 weeks. Since it takes a few months of being pregnant to actually notice changes in your belly size, you probably don't really have to wait to get pregnant. If you want to be on the safe side, wait a month.
