Could go either way: There's a possibility that getting pregnant and the weight of a growing fetus on your inguinal area and already present inguinal hernia could potentially make the inguinal hernia worse, definitely requiring repair after a pregnancy. It may cause you some discomfort as your uterus grows if you don't get it fixed before you get pregnant. On the other hand, a pregnancy could challenge a new repair.
