Nobody's perfect.: Regular menstrual cycles require a perfect orchestration of some very complicated reproductive and hormonal events. Unless a woman is on contraceptives that regulate her period for her, it's actually unusual to have 28 day cycles month after month. This could just be a temporary glitch or it could be your "new normal." See your gyn if you have heavy bleeding, pain or other symptoms.
