BPH and allergies: Individuals with BPH should not be on antihistamines because they decrease the ability of the bladder to contract properly which may lead to urinary retention however Allegra (fexofenadine) is different, it improves the bladder muscle contractions and therefore does not cause urinary retention. I am happy that the Allegra (fexofenadine) is helping you and alleviating some of your Sim chance with very little drug to drug interaction. Take care

Interesting: theoretically the usual dose of antihistamine does not provide noticeable relief in nasal congestion but super high doses may thus accounting for the effects on nasal congestion with nasal antihistamine. Regardless, if it works for you , you should enjoy the benefits. In theory, antihistamine can counter congestion by acting against histamine's action to cause engorgement of small blood vessels.
