Whichever works 4 u: Benzac is a brand of benzoyl peroxide (http://www.drugs.com/cons/benzac-topical.html). Various strengths of benzoyl peroxide are available over-the-counter w/o prescription. Differin is a brand of adapalene (http://www.drugs.com/differin.html), which is available by prescription only. Typically we recommend OTC products 1st. Failing that, we then try any number of prescription options.
