PCS: The Pelvic Congestive Syndrome (PCS) occurs when blood causes engorgement in the abdomen, thighs and genitals during sexual stimulation. In women it can take several hours to go away without orgasm. If the burning continues beyond 24 hours then another cause may be evident such as infection post D & C and you will need to see the MD again.
