There is no specific: bipolar diet. Eat healthy: fresh fruits, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, lean meats, cold-water fish, eggs, low-fat dairy, soy products, nuts, seeds. Fish oil may help. Avoid XS caffeine and high-fat; use salt moderately. Follow prescriber's instructions re foods that may affect your specific bipolar medication, if any. Combine with exercise and sleep.
