See family MD: You may have an allergic reaction to the venom from the yellowjackets. You need to see a family dr. As soon as possible.

I wish I could : Answer that question. It took > 1 week for my father when he had envenomation by > 200 yellow jacket stings. With the symptoms you are experiencing - medical evaluation is recommended.
