Negative: Negative Chest CT Scan means you do not have a pulmonary embolus or blood clot in the lung. But you could have it in the arm or legs.

Follow up needed: D dimer and CT angiogram are used to help diagnose pulmonary embolism ( blood clot in lung). No test is foolproof, so if symptoms persist, follow up with your doctor is essential. Sever left arm and upper back pain are concerning symptoms and may signal heart disease. Best to see your doctor as soon as possible.
