See MD: The natural history of asthma is to come and go. different things triger asthma. You can learn what causes your asthma--allergy, cold, upper respiratory infection, stress and how to treat your symptoms. You need to have meds at home to use as needed. If you smoke or are around smoke, you must avoid smoke and must stop smoking if you do. Good luck.

I can't blame you: Asthma is a frustrating disease to be sure. The best path towards lasting relief is to follow closely with a physician that has experience, can perform/interpret various tests to monitor lung function, educate yourself about the disease and execute your treatment plan. Good luck and feel better!

No cure anywhere: True asthma is a lifelong condition that most can learn how to manage to the point they have a normal life. There is no special clinic/med or treatment that makes it go away for good. You must educate yourself with the assistance of your treatment team. There is a good chance you could go years at a time with great control.

Lifestyle change: Avoid all milk products since the milk protein causes respiratory tract inflammation. Also avoid grains, lentils. Consume veggies, flesh foods, olive oil. Getting 30 -45 min of sunshine at noon daily or taking vitamin D3 10,000 IU/day and taking a good probiotic (not yogurt) help reduce inflammation Yoga breathing exercises 10-30 min/day help too. This may help avoid the need for meds
