My face gets really red and really hot at times as do my ears. i don't think it's a rash. can u tell me what could be causing this?

Rosacea?: You may be developing rosacea, a skin disease of unknown cause. It affects about 16 million people and often affects middle aged females of fair complexion. Many triggering factors are known including alcohol. I recommend the website, www.rosacea.org, which is a national organization devoted exclusively to people affected with rosacea. Also, a dermatologist is an excellent physcian to evaluate.
