Alternatives to PPIs: PPI's can be great for short-term use but I believe it's unwise to use them for more than a few months as they don't cure GERD & their hazards grow over time. See http://www.naturalnews.com/036336_PPIs_acid_reflux_side_effects.html & follow the links there for the great articles by Chris Kresser on diet, treating imbalances of flora & improving digestion. Homeopathy & Ayurveda may also be helpful.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
