A member asked:

I recently had a total hysterectomy, is it normal for it to hurt when there are gas movement in the stomach? plus frequent bowel movement after eating

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Wuts Wif yer Guts?: I'll assume they opened you up and didn't remove the uterus through the vagina. But in either case, just more if they opened you up, you've had a major assault to your innerds. They're probably very sensitive right now,and hyper and you'll be experiencing all kinds of weird feelings in there for a while(like a few months!).Don't worry too much unless the pain gets severe and persists-with vomiting
