Atrophy: the hormone in plan B can thin the lining of the uterus and if you just completed your period then that lining is already thin and can become so thin that it becomes fragile and bleeds easily. however your body will release estrogen at some point to stabilize the lining, so just be patient or start birth control pills. no matter what, you need some form of birth control.
