Can there be any relation between the respiratory diseases and sodium levels or thyroid levels?

Only indirect: There may be some indirect connections. For example, certain lung conditions such as pneumonia can affect pituitary gland production of adh, (vasopressin) which regulates sodium levels in the blood. Any illness might indirectly affect thyroid levels, but probably not to the point of causing a clinical thyroid illness.
