Exam needed: An examination is needed to determine where the sound is coming from. Sounds come from turbulent movement of fluid or air. Movement of air in the gut or expelling of air trapped in the lungs from asthma or COPD (smoking is the common cause of COPD) can cause all sorts of sounds. Gut noise without pain/symptoms typically is not a sign of problems. Wheezing from lungs is not normal, and needs exam.
