Viral conjunctivitis: Most cases of conjunctivitis are viral. The thing you have to keep in mind is its very very very contagious. You could easily spread it through your office. The best guide..even though the viral shedding has likely past is when the reds gone..your ready to return. Flushing with saline to remove the antigens more quickly is the best advice I can give you.
