Most likely normal: About 1 in 3 women will have spotting or bleeding in the first 3 or 4 months of pregnancy. This is usually from implantation bleeding as the pregnancy becomes established in the uterus. This is probably what you are seeing. If the fetal heartbeat has been confirmed, the chance that you will miscarry is less than 5%. If you are bleeding like a period or cramping and spotting, see your doctor.
