Late "period" ?: At age 30, a late onset of a period can mean pregnancy. Penicillin does not affect the onset of a period. Obtain a serum HCG test to be certain you are not pregnant from your healthcare provider. A sharp pain in your side with cramps can also be suggestive of a pregnancy in your tube, so do not delay in getting the test and an exam if it is positive.
