No: Lymphocytes are one type of White blood cells that fight viral infections. We also have neutrophils that fight bacterial infections, monocytes, eosinophils etc.. Absolute lymphocytes are the percentage of the white blood cells that are lymphocytes. With a virus infection the absolute lymphocyte count goes up. I wouldn't pay too much attention to the different percentages if the WBC is normal.
