See below: Back pain is usually self limiting. Heat, nsaids and rest are usually all it takes. Try a massage. If all that fails your pcp can prescribe a muscle relaxer for you.

Lower back pain : It depends on what is causing the back pain. If it is myofascial then heat ,an exercise program, muscle relaxants and anti inflammatories would be appropriate. Good Luck
