Is it possible to get cured from leukemia cancer?

Leukemia treatment: This depends on the type of leukemia. Some leukemias are curable with chemotherapy. Other types can be treated but may not be curable. What type of leukemia are you referring too?

Yes, but depends on: The type of leukemia, age and risk stratification. Pts w/ all b-cell phenotypes tend to do better than those with t-cell dz. AML is more challenging to treat. Kids do better than adults. There are several mutations w/ prognostic significance.. For all, taking all comers, survival among adults is 40-50%, children, 80-85%. AML 50-60% in kids and 30-40% in adults. Wide variation exists for each dx.
