Not really: Some women are born without a noticeable "cherry" or hymen,others have a slight ridge, some are totally closed which creates problems at puberty. The hymen can be lost due to non sexual activities in childhood or adolescence.It can also be "popped" during self sex. Once torn, it does not grow back.
