Your hymen: has nothing to do with menopause. Please discuss w/your doctor and get your concerns clarified. It will not grow back.

Terminology issue: It is likely s/he meant you had a hymen remnant, or ridge where the hymen would be. Some women are born without or have a minimal ridge or incomplete hymen. It can also look that way if you were sexually active & a remnant was present. It would never require removal or grow back.
