What would be the exact difference between polycystic cysts and polycystic ovarian syndrome?

Very different : Polycystic ovaries refer to the presence of many small follicles (incorrectly referred to as cysts) on the ovaries. Pcos is syndrome where there is a problem with ovulation and with too much male hormone in women. Most but not all women with pcos have pco like ovaries.
