Every time i wipe down in my private area there is a lot of mucus. at fist i thought it was that i was ovulating but i've had it for like like a week?

Still normal: A week is not an abnormally long time. The cervical mucus increases as estrogen levels rise prior to ovulation It will disappear after ovulation.
