Hello, i had hernia surgery 6 days ago now above my navel thers a hard like lump and very tender is this normal?

Belly Button Bump: Need to know if it was done endoscopically (which I would assume) or via a surgical incision. One of the endoscopic entrance points in around the navel and can leave some swelling as it heals. It should become much less tender after, say,10 days and will take several weeks to completely heal. But--if no endoscope was used, then a doctor would need more info to help decide if related to the surgery
