Low oxygen during: REM sleep cycles causes irritability of your cardiac circulation and intrinsic pacemakers, which are oxygen-hungry. As a result, hypoxia of your intrinsic pacemaker (sinus node) may develop into atrial fibrillation. Hope the sleep test and its treatment improve your condition.
