I'll be having a sleep study done soon as i think the low oxygen in blood is causing my afib and maybe the root cause all among , is it possible why?

Low oxygen during: REM sleep cycles causes irritability of your cardiac circulation and intrinsic pacemakers, which are oxygen-hungry. As a result,hypoxia of your intrinsic pacemaker (sinus node) may develop into atrial fibrillation. Hope the sleep test and its treatment improve your condition.
