I was on the injection for nearly 5 years and come off it around september last year, i have been trying for a baby since, and having no luck. ?

Up to 12 months: It can take up to 12 months for some women to begin ovulating again after stopping the Depoprovera injection. If your periods are not yet regular then you may not be ovulating yet.

Depo injection: Depo provera (medroxyprogesterone) usually resumes spontaneous ovulation within 6 months once it is discontinued. Were your menstrual cycles irregular prior to being placed on the medication? if so, there is a tendency for the menstrual cycle to resume that irregular pattern once the meds have stopped. I would be a good idea to be evaluated by a Fertility MD to determine ovulation frequency.
