Folliculitis: Folliculitis is a common skin condition in which hair follicles become inflamed. It's usually caused by a bacterial or fungal infection. Treatment is with an antibiotic or anti-fungal. It can come back. Prevention : 1) Avoid tight fitting clothes at that site. 2) Avoid shaving the area if possible 3) If you have to shave, change razor blades every time 4) Only go in clean hot tubs and pools
