Nausea: Nausea is a non specific symptom with multiple causes, dehydration, bad gallbladder, hernia, and yes hiatal hernia. Nausea after eating is one of the bad gallbladder symptoms. Okay to get evaluated by your regular doc, ask for imaging, gallbladder ultrasound. In the meantime stay on a low fat diet and increase your oral hydration. Be well.
