Ovulation: Pain at mid cycle is so common it has a name, Mittleschmertz, which is German for middle pain.Some women experience this every month,some only when they ovulate on one side or the other, some just randomly, and some never. It can even mimic appendicitis pain. It could also be unrelated to your cycle and could be a UTI or colon problem. A fuller history is necessary in order to say. Hope this helps
