Chicken pox from 3 weeks pregnancy,is there any risk for baby?

Pregnancy varicella: If mother gets chicken pox infection during early gestational period (weeks 8 to 20) the fetus is at risk for developing congenital varicella syndrome with limb hypoplasia, skin lesions, neurologic anomalies and eye damage. Difficult question: It is not clear that you are pregnant with varicella at 3 weeks or have a 3 wk old with varicella. Any infection you have early in pregnancy that enters the blood like varicella can affect the baby. At 3 wks it might end the pregnancy or cause organ/formation issues. Most of the infants who survive pregnancy with varicella effects were developed it after 12 wks,which makes your question difficult
