Is there any way a male would know if he has trichomoniasis?

Testing: The discharge can be looked at under microscope or you can have a blood test to detect antibodies. Except for the clear discharge from the penis it is difficult to know. Your partner should also be tested.

That depends.: It may be silent in 70% of infected people. Symptoms may occur within 5 to 28 days or much longer out. Symptoms may be intermittent. Men may experience penile discharge, burning w urination & /or ejaculation as well as itching internal to the penis. Men often get tested if their partner has trichomoniasis & that will make the diagnosis.
