On linzess temporarily for about a month trial. i've had diarrhea but no complete bm's. i still feel full and terrible. i've even strained. help?

Change dose/duration: Linzess is a non-systemic agent that works in many within 1 week to improve both the frequency & completeness of emptying, & within 6-8 weeks to reduce the sense of abdominal discomfort that often accompanies constipation. If you've taken one pill before your first meal daily without benefit, consider either a dose adjustment, take the drug a little longer, or proceed with further evaluation.
