Not to worry: You may not have palpated or felt the proper structure. The vas deferens (the cord you feel on the one side) connects the testicle to the urethra so sperm made in testicle can exit penis. Not always easy to feel both. Very common. As long as everything is working properly, no reason to worry. Good to feel testicles for lumps/bumps but other than that, leave the rest of the structures alone.

Probably normal: The cord may just be a slightly different shape on one side. If there is no pain or swelling It is probably nothing to worry about. If you are concerned see your doctor and have them do an exam to make sure that it is normal.
