See below: If you are referring to a small swelling in the upper abdomen it could represent a fatty lump(lipoma). If the lump in under the skin and is easily seen or felt it's not likely to be from anything deeper internally and is likely originating in the abdominal wall or superficial tissues. A less likely possibility would be an abdominal hernia. Cancer is highly unlikely. See your physician if concerned
