How likely is it to develop stomach cancer without having h pylori?

Not likely : There are some populations with a higher incidence of stomach cancers related more to their particular diet. H pylori is not the only environmental risk factor for gastric cancer, but remember it is still a relatively rare GI cancer.

Lifetime incidence: ..of stomach adenocarcinoma is around 0.6% in the U.S. More than 95% of stomach cancer patients have Helicobacter pylori infections. So the odds of getting stomach cancer without H.p. are very low.
