Arrhythmia: Normal hearts can beat out of rhythm sometimes. If this is happening to you often, ask your doctor to monitor your rhythm with a 24 or 48 hour or 30 day event monitor (depending on how often it occurs) to see what's up. Meanwhile, you can help yourself by: avoiding nicotine, caffeine, alcohol, decongestants, other stimulants, and trying to get plenty of sleep/avoiding stress where possible.
