Hard to tell: With information given i'd suspect a virus. Has it happened before? What set it off? Going through a lot if stress? Do you have any food sensitivities. How long hasbit been present?

Allergy/viral: Could be a sever allergic reaction to certain foods or meds. , of a viral infection or outbreak like herpes etc.. See a doctor for exams and a swale for testing.
